eduroam (education roaming) is the secure, world-wide roaming access service developed for the international research and education community.
eduroam allows students, researchers and staff from participating institutions to obtain Internet connectivity across campus and when visiting other participating institutions by simply opening their laptop.
Visit the following site (https://www.eduroam.org/where/).
Look for the country and check for the Institution you are visiting.
eduroam is even valid within Switzerland (ETHZ, EPFL, UNIGE, UNIBE, etc…).

Select the eduroam wireless connection on your device.
Use your UZH Shortname and attach @uzh.ch to it (i.e. "UZH Shortname@uzh.ch").
Type your UZH WLAN password to authenticate.
If you don’t know your UZH Shortname or if you have to reset your UZH WLAN password, go to the ITIM Identity Manager (https://www.identity.uzh.ch) to make changes.
