Leisure Program

Located between mountains and lakes, Morschach is an ideal starting point for mountain tours and activities on and around the Urnersee, the southernmost part of Lake Lucerne.
Magnificent vantage points and extensive walking opportunities are the highlights of this small village.

The Axenfels viewpoint (Google Maps) in Morschach is therefore probably one of the most beautiful views in Switzerland. The endless Lake Lucerne, the settlements on the slopes such as Seelisberg opposite or the Rütli, the point where Switzerland was founded, can all be seen.

A small aerial cableway connects the village with the car-free mountain village of Stoos where hikers and bikers can spend a great day.

From Stoos, you can embark on various hiking trails that lead to beautiful viewpoints. One popular option is the hike to Klingenstock, which offers stunning vistas of the surrounding peaks and Lake Lucerne. The round trip can be completed within 3-4 hours, depending on the specific route you choose.
