First in line of a young dynasty of PhD students, Prince Alberto is not from Monaco but from Granada in Spain. Leaving the Alhambra Palace for Barcelona, he joined the Center for Research in Agricultural Genomics where he obtained his Master degree working on tomato viruses. Following a growing passion for epigenetics, Alberto swapped sunny beaches, tasty tapas and anchovies for snowy mountains, chocolate and cheese. Alberto is smart and a fast learner. The first week on the job, he notably mastered the ancient techniques of Glühwein making, while socializing with his peers.
